XYK has converted to anonymousness after issues with
anxiety and panic-attacks, often provoked by social
media and other stress related situations. After the
release of his well received debut-album ’Genesis’ he
took a break to get to grips with his stress issues.
After some time of using therapy and quitting
everything with negative energy he is back to
releasing music.

”Im not at all unique in my situation and the reason
why I want this to occupy my artist biography is
because so many people are still struggling to feel
comfortable asking for help. I always thought my panic
attacks and anxiety wasn’t treatable because I wasn’t
suicidal. It’s a bit fucked up but it's getting better
and I was helped with cognitive behavior therapy.
It has taken almost three years to feel somehow
comfortable releasing new music and though it still
feels scary I find confidence in a music scene &
audience so supportive and lovable as the DnB-family.
Thanks for your time, let’s kick on, flush the toilet,
tweak our moves and be humble together.”
