XYK is back at it again with another banger EP. This time exploring new rhythmic territory and presenting a well curated dancey but yet listening friendly three track voyage.

Sussex Genetics is another Koppar release
idealizing UK youth lifestyle & rave culture in
the south coast city Brighton. Tim Widgar's
distinctive moniker XYK usually tend to keep
melodies at a low to create dystopian landscapes,
though this time connects to a more personal touch
with moody harmonies and hooky bass-lines.

XYK who recently released the "Before The Shock"
EP, which was his first release since his debut-
album in 2016 has promised that 2020 is a year in
which you can expect possibly one or two more EP's
from him. He is also apparent in his approach to
progress and that "Sussex Genetics" is a pathway
into new exploration and territories though still
staying true to the genesis of breaks and rhythm.
